Texas Instruments names Tim Williams vice president

DALLAS (March 4, 2015) – Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NASDAQ:TXN) today announced that Tim Williams has been elected vice president of the company. Williams is the controller of Silicon Valley Analog and is responsible for leading the worldwide finance and operations team, partnering with the general manager to drive business strategy and overseeing financial planning and analysis, supply chain and operational order fulfillment and accounting compliance. 

Williams joined TI in 2000 as a cost and financial planning analyst. He has since held a number of finance and operations positions and led several cross-functional groups in campus recruiting, diversity initiatives and career development. He most recently served as TI’s director of corporate financial planning & analysis.

Williams earned an associate’s degree in business administration from New Mexico Military Institute, followed by a bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas A&M University. He also earned a Master of Business Administration with emphasis in finance, strategy and entrepreneurship from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
