DALLAS (March 21, 2016) – Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NASDAQ:TXN) announced that Karthik Vasanth has been elected vice president of the company. As vice president and general manager of TI’s medical, high reliability and sensing business, Vasanth is responsible for developing and delivering market-leading solutions and leading the teams responsible for those technologies.

"Karthik is an experienced business leader with a deep understanding of leading-edge sensing technologies and customer needs across many markets. His election is well deserved," said Haviv Ilan, senior vice president of TI’s high performance analog business.

Vasanth joined TI in 1995 as a process and device model engineer in TI’s analog technology development group.
