New Trade Fair Centre, Munich/Germany, November 9-12, 2004

National is located in Hall A4, Booth 506

Nov 4, 2004

November 4, 2004 - Under the theme "Winning in Analog", National Semiconductor Corporation (NYSE:NSM) will demonstrate its leading analog technology and new products at electronica 2004 on a 240 m2 booth in Hall A4, #506.

Among the highlights are:

  • New high-performance analog DC/DC converters which reduce power consumption of radio-frequency (RF) power amplifiers in cell phones by up to 80% and allow for up to 90 minutes extended talk time.
  • A brand new family of color LED drivers, adding fun-appeal and functionality to cell phones, smart phones, personal digital assistants and other handheld devices.
  • A highly integrated buck regulator, the latest addition to National’s high-voltage LM5000 family. Combining small size and high-frequency operation, the LM5010 is ideally suited for 48 V telecom applications and high-voltage industrial power supply requirements.
  • New high performance multiplexers (mux) for professional video applications. The LMH6572 is the fastest triple 2:1 video mux on the market with a large signal bandwidth of 270MHz, enabling higher resolution with lower distortion and crosstalk for RGB and pixel switching video architectures.
  • National’s first range of precision amplifiers, offering high accuracy in industrial, medical and automotive applications. The LMP2011 features no 1/f noise and very low offset voltage drift over temperature and time.
  • New Boomer® audio Piezoelectric speaker drivers for small form-factor applications.
  • National’s LM4859 and LM4931 audio subsystem solutions integrating stereo amplifiers, 3D enhancement and audio console functionality, while removing expensive external components allowing more compact cellular phone form-factors.
  • A live demo of National’s WEBENCH®  online design tool that helps engineers to design their Power, Amplifier, Audio and PLL circuits free, quickly and easily on National’s website.
