National Semiconductor to Introduce New Power Management Products at Applied Power Electronics Conference and Expo

• National Showcases Power Management Technology at APEC

• Three National Power Experts Speak at the Conference

February 28, 2005—National Semiconductor Corporation (NYSE:NSM) will showcase its newest power management technology at the Applied Power Electronics Conference and Expo (APEC) in Austin, Texas, March 6-10.  National will introduce new pulse-width modulation (PWM) controllers and a high-voltage buck regulator, and provide product demonstrations in its booth (number 606/608).

In addition to demonstrating these new products, National will also exhibit its WEBENCH® online design tool for power management applications, as well as a tear-down of a popular consumer product that utilizes National’s power management solutions.  Three of National’s technical experts will speak on a range of power management topics during the conference.
