Texas Instruments names Kyle Flessner vice president of Worldwide Quality and Semiconductor Packaging

DALLAS, March 8, 2011 - Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NYSE:TXN) today announced that Kyle Flessner, factory manager of DMOS6, has been named a vice president of the company. In his new role, Flessner will manage TI's semiconductor package development activities as well as ensure the delivery of its quality solutions within the Technology and Manufacturing Group.

"Kyle's natural leadership abilities will serve him well in his new role," said Kevin Ritchie, senior vice president, Technology and Manufacturing Group.  "His expertise in many business units gives him a complete view of how to continuously meet and exceed the needs of TI's customers."

Flessner joined TI in 1993 and has held a number of positions with the company, including product engineering manager and parametric test engineer for various business units. Most recently, Kyle served as the factory manager for the DMOS6 solution, where he oversaw the facility's processes.

Flessner earned a Bachelor of Science in Math from Texas State University and a Master of Science from Texas A&M University.
