Texas Instruments names Jay K. Cameron Vice President and General Manager of High Volume Linear

DALLAS (February 21, 2012) – Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NASDAQ:TXN) today announced that Jay K. Cameron has been elected a vice president of the company. In this new role, Cameron oversees strategy, new product development, operations, and profit and loss for the High Volume Linear business at TI.

“Jay has excellent customer relationships and system understanding, which will serve well in his role as TI vice president for the High Volume Linear business,” said Dave Heacock, senior vice president and manager of High Volume Analog and Logic at Texas Instruments. “Jay’s experience and leadership skills are an incredible asset in helping address customer needs and driving business growth.”

Cameron joined TI in 2000 and has held multiple management positions within the company. Cameron’s current focus is on the High Volume Linear business unit, which develops semiconductor products including analog systems-on-chip, power management products, and interface products targeted for consumer, communications, and industrial applications.

Cameron earned bachelor and master of science in electrical engineering degrees from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
