Texas Instruments names John Sullivan vice president

DALLAS (March 4, 2015) – Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NASDAQ:TXN) today announced that John Sullivan has been elected vice president of the company. Sullivan is assistant general counsel responsible for leading the Asia-region and Japan operations legal team and the legal team supporting TI’s worldwide technology and manufacturing and procurement and logistics groups. He is currently based in Beijing.

With nearly 10 years of experience working for international law firms in China, Sullivan joined TI in 2000 as legal counsel in TI’s Dallas office. He has since held a number of positions with the company, including senior counsel and Asia legal director based in Shanghai, then Beijing. He most recently served as director of legal for the Asia-region and Japan.

Sullivan earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, followed by a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in Massachusetts.
