Texas Instruments names Dave Youngblood vice president of communications for Analog, DLP and the corporate brand

DALLAS - Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NASDAQ:TXN) today announced Dave Youngblood’s election as vice president. As vice president of communications for Analog, DLP and the corporate brand, Youngblood is responsible for all communications for Analog and DLP, including effective messaging and content, market communications, marketing technology, and distribution communications, as well as the company’s overall brand.

“Dave’s background in marketing and communications for various groups at TI is an important asset to his new role as a vice president of the company,” said Terri West, senior vice president and manager, communications and investor relations. “He brings a strong knowledge base and understanding of what our customers need that will help TI remain competitive in the industry.”

Youngblood joined TI in 1999 as a launch marketing manager for Standard Linear and Logic products. He has held a number of positions in marketing and communications in his 15 years at TI. Most recently, he served as director of communications for Analog, DLP and the corporate brand.

Youngblood earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Austin College in Sherman, Texas, and a master’s degree in communications from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas.
