Texas Instruments prices $500 million of investment grade notes

DALLAS, April 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NASDAQ: TXN) today announced the pricing of $500 million of 1.850% senior unsecured notes due May 15, 2022.

TI expects to use the net proceeds of this offering for repayment of a portion of outstanding debt and the remainder, if any, for general corporate purposes. The offering is expected to close on May 6, 2016.
